Carrot Clock.

A nanosecond-accurate countdown system, built for the biggest broadcast on Earth.

ClientHBS × AP

The problem

The 2026 FIFA World Cup spans the USA, Canada and Mexico, with on-air countdown clocks driven by broadcast scripts. Timings shifted second by second, sync was non-negotiable, and the accuracy bar for the world's biggest tournament could not be higher.

The solution

We wrote Carrot Clock — a nanosecond-accurate infinite clock system. It follows hours of broadcast script in perfect sync, holds atomic-clock accuracy, reads script language directly, and lets operators save and reload clocks at will. Precision built for live television.
